NOTE: This is a pre-order item and the order cut-off date is 31 August 2023 (or earlier if sold out, so please order early!). We plan to ship out the DIY sets starting from mid September, in advance of the Mid-Autumn Festival (which is on 29 September this year).
The DIY Pet Mooncake Kit includes:
- 1 mooncake mold (choose your own design pattern)
- 1 silicone oil brush (random colour)
- 1 measuring cup
- 1 package of pet mooncake mix (including: pastry mix, filling mix, mini egg yolks, coconut oil, user manual)
- 1 mooncake packaging gift box, 2 mooncake tins, 2 mooncake bags
- 1 instruction booklet
Pet mooncake mix includes:
| (Pink)： | Scottish salmon (rich in omega-3), British broccoli, selected farm sweet potatoes, Indonesian purple sweet potatoes, beetroot |
| (Purple)﹕ | British turkey (less than 2% fat), Indonesian purple sweet potatoes |
| (Orange)﹕ | Grass-fed British beef (less than 5% fat), British broccoli, selected farm sweet potatoes, Indonesian purple sweet potatoes |
| (Yellow)﹕ | British lamb leg meat (less than 5% fat), British broccoli, selected farm sweet potatoes |
Other ingredients: British potatoes, organic coconut flour, British free-range chicken eggs, organic coconut oil, organic flaxseed
- Each ingredient package can make 4 mooncakes (5cm in diameter), customers can purchase additional ingredient packages to make more mooncakes.
- Unused packages can be stored at room temperature, refrigeration is only necessary after the mooncakes are made.
- Customers only need to prepare warm water and a small amount of cooking oil (for greasing the mooncake mold) to create the mooncakes.
- Apart from using an oven, an air fryer can also be used, baking for around ten minutes will complete the process.
- Remember to let the mooncakes cool before feeding them to your pets.
- Once packaged, they can be refrigerated for a few days or given as gifts to friends.
In addition to the ingredient packages, the kit includes two mooncake boxes and packaging materials. You can enjoy 2 mooncakes yourself and give 2 to friends.
We also have video tutorials, so even those with less baking experience can make them easily!
No oven? No problem! They can also be made using an air fryer.

Storage method:
Store at room temperature before making. Keep in a cool and dry place. Unopened crust mix can be stored for six months. After making, store the mooncakes in the refrigerator and consume them within a few days.
